Theo Langejan appointed head of Brussels office Pensioenfederatie
The Federation of the Dutch Pension Funds (Pensioenfederatie) has appointed Theo Langejan to head its Brussels office as of June 1, 2019. Langejan has already been a special adviser to the board of the Federation since 2017, and he will now combine both positions. Before joining the Federation, Langejan had managerial positions in the Dutch ministries of Finance and of Social Affairs and as a consultant. Also new to the Federation’s Brussels office is Matthies Verstegen, who will join as of mid-September. At present he works at PensionsEurope, the Brussels based umbrella organization representing 24 national associations of pension funds in Europe.

Langejan succeeds Sibylle Reichert, who has represented the Federation of the Dutch Pension Funds in Brussels for almost 10 years. She will continue her career at the Association Internationale de la Mutualité, a Brussels based international industry organization for healthcare insurers. Verstegen will succeed Evelien Alblas who, after having been active for the Brussels office of the Federation for 2 years, has accepted a new position elsewhere.
